The Ghana Monitoring and Evaluation Forum (GMEF) has been held in Accra.
The event mobilised professionals from national and international NGOs, development partners, government, parliament and the private sector for a morning of presentations and discussions.
The GMEF, which was sponsorship from STAR-Ghana and the World Bank discussed “Gender and Inclusion in M&E”.
However, Mrs Francesca Pobee-Hayford (Gender Advisor, CIDA-PSU) Position and Organization, who did the first presentation, touched on the topic “Integrating gender and inclusion issues in M&E of national policy and decision-making for enhanced national development.”
Mr. Forster Boateng Project Manager, GRSCDP, Dept. of Women, MOWAC, Position and Organization also treated participants on the subject “Overview of the Gender Responsive Skills and Community Development Project: (GRSCDP): integrating Gender and M&E at the district-level.”
GMEF Steering Committee after a successful event continued with the 1st GMEF Annual General Meeting where new members were added.
